PROVIDING WATER
The land was purchased and we have completed Phase II. The bore hole has been drilled and water is running! A pump, piping, and holding tank are in place. In Phase III, funds will be needed to build the children's center.

If you wish to donate to help make Mama Alice's dream a reality, click the donate link below . Become a Support Team member by donating monthly. Many corporations give matching gifts for donations, so check with your employer. Donations are made to "Into Kenya", a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Funds then go to the Mama Alice Foundation, NGO, non-governmental non-profit organization in Kenya.
NOURISHMENT PROGRAM
With the completion of purchasing land, digging a well, and erecting a water tower, Elgin based charity, Into Kenya, has provided water for families in Kakamega County, Kenya. Now, in continued partnership with the Mama Alice Foundation of Kenya, we are launching the 2023 Nourishment Program.
Once a month for 6 months out of the year, this program will provide the children with a warm meal and opportunity to work with experienced mentors who can teach them important information for their health and well being. In alternating months, they will be supplied with dry food that can be cooked at home and shared with their family unit.
At only $25 per child, Into Kenya’s goal is to provide the funding for 300 children to participate in the program for one full year. Every donation matters and will help us reach our goal of $7,500.
